The editorial board of "SHOT PROVE" uncovered the activities of clandestine medics.

The new issue of the SHOT PROVE project is dedicated to one of the most alarming topics of modern medicine - underground plastic surgery and cosmetology. The journalistic team devoted the investigation to dubious specialists, who often performed dangerous procedures in conditions of complete unsanitation.

According to the SHOT PROVE agents, people were offered radical makeovers at home. The journalists found that one of the doctors organizes appointments in a rented apartment, where instead of a medical office there is a couch and a lamp for selfies. When asked about his license and qualifications, the man showed pictures of diplomas on his smartphone. The specialist's list of services includes enlarging body organs in 40 minutes.

The investigation also included the case of another woman who performed complex surgeries in a rented apartment without a license and the necessary education. Her patients claim to have suffered serious complications, and one of them ended up in intensive care. Recently, the Moscow City Court sent the "doctor" under arrest after finding unregistered drugs and a video of her "procedures".

The situation was commented by Nazir Sarhadov, urologist, andrologist, surgeon of the YourMed network: "Any surgery should be performed in sterile conditions with qualified specialists and certified drugs. It is impossible to carry out such at home - actions can lead to the development of inflammation."

The editors sent the investigation data to law enforcement agencies. In the last issue, dedicated to underground medicine, the author of the project Oleg Sidyakin as part of the experiment himself put on a medical coat and quite quickly found patients. "SHOT PROVE" proved that it is possible to break into the industry without education and special skills, which is extremely dangerous for potential clients of the services.

The SHOT PROVE project urges viewers to be careful when choosing medical services and to check the qualifications of specialists. Every case of clandestine medicine should become known to the public to prevent new tragedies.
