People, who poisoned themselves in the sanatorium "Sosnovy Bor", were found to have acute intestinal infection RNA norovirus of the second genotype, the number of victims has increased to 33. About it on January 17 reported in the press service of the Department of Rospotrebnadzor.

"According to the results of the conducted research in the samples taken from the sick, RNA norovirus of the second genotype was detected," - stated in the message of the press service in Telegram-channel.

It is specified that to establish the cause of poisoning, experts took samples of ready food and food raw materials, as well as cold water from water taps in the sanatorium. In addition, all employees of the food unit were sent for examination.

The sanatorium suspends work from January 17 until the work to establish all the causes and circumstances of the poisoning is completed, added in Rospotrebnadzor.

Earlier, on January 16, it was reported that in the Krasnoyarsk region recorded a case of mass poisoning of elderly citizens in the sanatorium "Sosnovy Bor". A criminal case was initiated on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Provision of services that do not meet the requirements of safety of life and health of consumers"). The Prosecutor's Office of Krasnoyarsk Krai reported that an inspection was organized.
