In 2025 in the Northern Capital will work 16 fonts in 10 districts of the city. Their addresses are published on the website of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in St. Petersburg.

Before ablution, it is recommended to make sure that there are no contraindications. People suffering from cardiovascular diseases, diseases of the nasopharynx, lungs and nasal cavities, neurological diseases, epilepsy, cystitis, diabetes mellitus, inflammatory diseases of the kidneys, appendages and prostate gland bathing is strictly prohibited. This also applies to people recovering from brain injuries, surgeries and having problems with the musculoskeletal system. You can not dive into the ice-hole in acute respiratory viral diseases. Children participating in the rite should be under adult supervision throughout their stay near the font. After bathing, they should also be rubbed with a towel, changed into dry clothes and taken to a warm place.
