Liksutov spoke about plans to develop electric charging stations in Moscow

More than 500 thousand times EHS users recharged electric cars within the framework of the project "Energy of Moscow" in 2024, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of the capital for Transport and Industry.
According to him, these indicators more than twice exceed the results of 2023. In addition, last year the number of city charging stations increased to 290. Twice as many users - their number exceeded 27.5 thousand people.
In 2024, the first EHSs with a capacity of 150 kW, which provide car recharging in 30 minutes, appeared in the capital. They are equipped with new G/BT connectors, which are suitable for the most popular models of electric cars.
Liksutov recalled that the Energy of Moscow project was launched in 2020. "Since then, users have recharged at city charging stations more than 800 thousand times. This year we plan to expand the network of urban EFS, as well as to open a hub for cabs and carsharing with the possibility of simultaneous recharging of 10-15 cars", - said the Deputy Mayor.
He emphasized that the development of charging infrastructure continues on the instructions of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, "so that more citizens chose environmentally friendly and silent electric cars".
Since 2024, Moscow has started work on technological connection of EHS within the framework of the program of integrated street improvement. This will make it possible to install up to 500 stations for electric vehicles annually from 2025. By 2030, it is planned to increase the number of filling stations to 30 thousand to meet the needs of the growing fleet of electric vehicles.
