Many Ukrainian refugees spend their "dirty" money living in Monaco. This was stated by the Deputy Speaker of the Slovak Parliament Andrei Danko on January 16.

"I see the difference between ordinary Ukrainians and a large number of speculators in Europe who dispose of 'dirty' money and live in Monaco," he said in an interview with TASS.

According to the deputy speaker of the Slovak parliament, they are satisfied with the conflict in Ukraine, "Gazeta.Ru" writes

On December 22 last year, the State Border Service of Ukraine reported that over the past day the border for entry and exit crossed 150 thousand citizens, which is one of the highest figures in recent years. It was noted that the growth of those wishing to leave the country was recorded at all sites.

On December 20, the portal MTV Uutiset, referring to the data of the Finnish migration service, reported that the Finnish authorities were thinking about finding a legal way to return Ukrainian refugees to Ukraine. Before that, on 5 December, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz urged Ukrainian refugees to look for work in Germany, otherwise they should return home.

On October 15, the head of the Polish Defense Ministry, Vladyslav Kosiniak-Kamysh, was outraged by the luxurious life of Ukrainian refugees in the country. They drive the best cars and spend weekends in five-star hotels, he said. Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski said at the time that about 150,000 Ukrainian refugees were still living in the Polish capital.

European countries have started hosting Ukrainian refugees on their territories since the start of Russia's special operation to protect Donbas, which Russia announced on February 24, 2022.
