- A fire broke out at an oil depot in the Voronezh region as a result of a UAV attack
As a result of the fall of drones on the territory of an oil depot there was a fire in one of the districts of the Voronezh region. This was reported by the Governor of the region Alexander Gusev on January 15.
"As a result of the fall of several UAVs in one of the districts of the region there was a fire on the territory of an oil depot," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.
Gusev clarified that there were no casualties as a result of the incident, the operational services are working on the site.
Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that air defense forces destroyed five Ukrainian drones over two regions of Russia. It is specified that four drones were eliminated over the territory of the Voronezh region and one over the Belgorod region. The attacks were repelled between 18:40 and 18:50 Moscow time.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the start of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
