Three civilians injured in AFU attacks in Horlivka and Makeyevka
Three civilians were injured as a result of attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in Horlivka and Makeyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was reported by the head of the region Denis Pushilin on January 15.
"In Nikitovsky district of Gorlovka as a result of dropping an explosive object from a drone of the AFU on a car, a man born in 1961 was seriously injured," Pushilin wrote in his Telegram-channel.
Two more women born in 1935 and 1947 were injured when Ukrainian militants attacked the Soviet district of Makeyevka with long-range rockets. The head of the DNR noted that all the injured are receiving medical care.
In addition, a civilian infrastructure facility and two cars were damaged in Horlivka, and eight residential buildings and five cars were damaged in Makeyevka.
According to Pushilin, a total of more than 20 armed attacks were carried out by Ukrainian armed formations (AFU) using attack drones, rocket artillery, 155 mm caliber artillery, including cluster-type artillery.
Earlier, on January 14, Pushilin reported that two civilians were killed and five others were wounded as a result of the AFU shelling over the day. According to his information, 30 armed attacks were carried out by Ukrainian armed formations (AFU). Barrel artillery of 155 mm caliber was used.
Ukrainian militants have been shelling the territories of the Donetsk and Luhansk people's republics, as well as the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions on a daily basis against the background of the special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Russia on February 24, 2022.
