The United Russia political party will assist in the creation of a unified digital platform to promote domestic goods, according to a statement published on the party's website on January 15.

Sergei Morozov, federal coordinator of the "Choose Your Own" party project and deputy head of the United Russia faction in the State Duma, and Mikhail Sadchenkov, head of the "Made in Russia" movement, signed the agreement, which implies a strategic partnership.

"We as the party of power set an ambitious task to create an effective and long-term strategy to create a sustainable demand for domestic goods," Morozov said.

He added that the directions will be developed in conditions of active communication with business and in general work with retailers of the Russian Federation. In turn, the head of "Made in Russia" emphasized that the party will be able to strengthen the capabilities of the movement.

It is noted that in the coming terms "United Russia" and the Federal executive authorities together with regional leaders will present a strategy for combining the efforts of the country and business to implement a major company to create a stable demand for Russian goods.

Earlier, on November 2, "Izvestia" got acquainted with the results of a poll conducted by the social research agency "Stolitsa", according to which 66.5% of Russians believe that the departure of foreign companies from the Russian market has had virtually no impact on the availability of goods and services. About a third (29.5%) of respondents note that everything they need is still available. In addition, 37% of citizens believe that domestic analogs have successfully replaced foreign goods.
