A customer in a Ukrainian supermarket in Ivano-Frankivsk was sold a doughnut with a cartridge inside. This was reported on January 15 by the mayor of the city Ruslan Marcinkiv in Telegram-channel.

"Such a doughnut with a "surprise" today bought in one of the supermarkets in the city," - wrote the mayor.

He added that the photo of the doughnut with a cartridge was sent to him in personal messages. And he also specified that police officers find out the details of the incident and establish whether the cartridge was real.

Earlier, on January 15, it became known that at least 12 people were infected with hepatitis A after consuming blueberries in the Netherlands. It was reported that two of those who fell ill required hospitalization. The virus was detected in bags of berries of 1 kg with a shelf life until April 14, 2026.
