Lukashenko banned officials from spending money on "junk"

It is impossible to spend money on "junk" when forming the State Investment Program in Belarus. This statement was made by President Alexander Lukashenko on January 15 during the report on the approval of the program for 2025.
"Not a single penny should not be spent on what we can do without. All sorts of offices, offices and other - we have enough of this "junk," BelTA agency quotes the Belarusian leader.
Lukashenko also noted that this position applies to all objects, regardless of whether they belong to the state, the Interior Ministry or civil servants. He also stressed that the program should be guided by economy as a key principle.
He gave the main role on this issue to the chairman of the State Control Committee, Vasili Gerasimov.
Earlier, January 3, Lukashenko announced a visit to China at a meeting with his confidants to develop a partnership policy. He noted that he would visit Beijing before the voting in Belarus. In addition, the head of state pointed out the importance of building cooperation with China.
