Footage of the aftermath of the AFU attack on Makeyevka in the DNR has been published

As a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the Soviet district of Makeyevka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR), more than five houses were damaged and a gas pipeline was broken. Images of the aftermath are published by Izvestia on January 15.

The attack was carried out using a large-caliber multiple rocket launcher system (MLRS).

The footage shows that a car was also damaged as a result of the AFU shelling. Fire department personnel are at the scene.

Earlier, on January 13, the official representative of the FSSB of Russia in the DNR Arina Klepanova reported that the system of airspace protection and electronic warfare "Dome of Donbass" for a week detected and intercepted 208 drones over Donetsk and Makeyevka. It is specified that the AFU terrorist operation to blow up a gas main near one of the schools in the Kirovsky district of Donetsk was also thwarted.

The AFU has been shelling Russian territory on a daily basis amid a special operation to protect Donbas, the start of which was announced by Moscow on February 24, 2022.
