Funding standards for kindergartens and schools were indexed in Moscow

The mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin has signed a decree on increase of standards of financing of kindergartens and schools. This is stated in the message published on the capital portal mos.ru. The amount of indexation of expenses will amount to an average of 8.2%.

"Expenses for a pupil of elementary school and guys from the fifth to the 11th classes will amount to 160,3 thousand and 184,6 thousand rubles annually. For kindergarten pupils the amounts will amount to 90.2 thousand and 237 thousand rubles per year, depending on the type of stay group", - is indicated in the material.

Since the beginning of this year the per capita standard for students of the first - fourth grades will amount to Br160.3 thousand, and from the fifth to the 11th - Br184.6 thousand per year. Costs per kindergarten pupil for full-day groups have been increased to Br237 thousand, for children from short-term stay groups they have increased to Br90.2 thousand per year.

The budget of the city also provides increase of salaries of pedagogical and other employees of Moscow institutions of preschool and secondary general education.

As it is noted in the message on mos.ru, since 2020 all Moscow schools and kindergartens, both public and private, receive budget financing according to unified per capita standards.

For 11 months of 2024 in Moscow completed the construction of 40 educational facilities, said in December Deputy Mayor of the capital on urban policy and construction Vladimir Efimov. The total area of the objects amounted to more than 300 thousand square meters. m.

Educational objects are built on means of the capital address investment program and money of private investors. As Vladislav Ovchinsky, the head of the capital department of urban planning policy of Moscow, noted, since the beginning of 2024 investors have built 29 educational objects.
