No violations in gas supplies via the Turkish Stream gas pipeline have been detected after the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked the Russkaya compressor station in the Krasnodar Region, Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar has said on 15 January. This was announced by Turkish Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar on January 15.

"There were no interruptions in gas supply after the attack. The pipeline continues to supply gas with the same capacity," Türkiye Today quoted him as saying.

The day before, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the destruction of the Turkish Stream gas pipeline is part of the US plans. According to him, following Nord Stream, they are trying to "disable" this gas pipeline as well.

On January 11, the Russian Defense Ministry reported on January 13 that Ukraine tried to attack with nine drones a compressor station in Krasnodar Region, through which the Turkish Stream gas pipeline is supplied. The ministry stressed that Russian air defense forces shot down all the drones.

The Russkaya compressor station normally supplies gas to the Turkish Stream, there was no pumping failure.

Also on Monday, Turkish political analyst Mehmet Perincek told Izvestia that the AFU attack on the Turkish Stream gas pipeline station was expected, as Kiev and Washington had openly stated plans to prevent its operation.
