The Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation approved the development strategy until 2030

The Accounts Chamber (AC) has approved the development strategy until 2030, which will implement the tasks set by Russian President Vladimir Putin in the sphere of socio-economic development of the state and increase the efficiency of formation and use of state resources. This is reported on January 15 on the website of the Accounts Chamber.

"The Board of the Accounting Chamber approved the development strategy of the agency until 2030. Protector of the interests of society, guarantor of accountability, conductor of best practices, digital auditor and responsible employer - this is the vision of the Accounting Chamber for the next six years," - emphasized the agency.

In addition, the appointed strategy envisages four directions. They include promoting the achievement of indicators of national goals and objectives of the country's strategic development through an integrated approach to public audit, as well as promoting the identification and elimination of systemic problems of public administration.

"First of all, the realization of the new strategy of the Accounting Chamber will be aimed at promoting the achievement of national development goals and solving the tasks set by the President of the Russian Federation. In the current environment, the main thing for us is to promote economy and efficiency in the use of public resources," said Ilnar Mirsiyapov, Chief of Staff of the Accounting Chamber.

In addition, the promotion of the institute of external public audit in cooperation with control and accountancy bodies and partners from other countries, as well as the provision of reasoned and evidence-based analytical support are emphasized.

Earlier, January 14, Chairman of the agency Boris Kovalchuk said that the Accounts Chamber returned a record amount of almost 94 billion rubles to the budgets of all levels in 2024 . The indicator is comparable to the amount of funds that the Accounts Chamber managed to return over the past eight years, Kovalchuk pointed out. The total economic effect of this work exceeded 130 billion rubles.
