Footage of the Russian Armed Forces fighting during the liberation of Ukrainka in the DNR has been published

On January 15, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the Russian Armed Forces' (AFU) combat operations during the liberation of Ukrainka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR).

The footage shows a defense breakthrough, dropping ammunition on the strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The fact that the settlement was taken under control by units of the Russian grouping of troops "Center" was reported earlier in the day.

The day before, on January 14, the Russian army liberated the villages of Neskuchne and Terny in the DNR. In Neskuchnoye, servicemen of the unit of the Vostok group of troops who took part in the liberation of the village hoisted a flag.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which was announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
