UAZ raised prices for cars by Br70-100 thousand
UAZ SGR ("Bukhanka") and "Profi" family cars went up in price by the amount from 70 thousand to 100 thousand rubles, depending on the modification and engine type. This is reported on January 15 by "Journal Avto.ru", which drew attention to the updated price lists on the brand's website.
The main technical change in both commercial families was the refusal to produce cars with engines of eco-standard "Euro-2", which were still produced in 2024. Now only "Euro-5" engines are left in the range.
As a result, the minimum price of the UAZ SGR in the base version with a single-row cabin increased from 1.43 million to 1.52 million rubles. The flagship nine-seat bus is priced at 1.61 million rubles, while the Expedition version is priced at 1.82 million rubles. The "Profi" model costs from Br1.85 million to Br2.37 million, previously it cost Br1.75-2.27 million.
It is noted that earlier SUVs "Patriot", "Pickup" and "Hunter" also went up in price after the refusal of Euro-2 versions.
January 13, it was reported that UAZ began tests of the Patriot with a new diesel engine. The debut of the model is scheduled for the fourth quarter of this year. The SUV will get the same diesel engine as the UAZ "Profi" light truck.
January 10, Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant reported that the best-selling in the UAZ model lineup in 2024 were commercial vehicles of the UAZ SGR ("Bukhanka") family. In total, almost 36 thousand UAZ vehicles were sold in Russia in 2024.
