Air defense means have destroyed 85 Ukrainian drones on Russian territory over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defense Ministry has said. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 15.

"Air defense means shot down two guided aerial bombs Hammer made in France, 10 rockets of the HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system made in the United States and 85 unmanned aerial vehicles of aircraft type," the ministry said in a statement.

In addition, the Russian army hit the infrastructure of military airfields, as well as accumulations of manpower and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in 137 areas.

"This morning the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a group strike with high-precision weapons and strike drones on critical gas and energy infrastructure facilities that support the Ukrainian military-industrial complex. The goal of the strike has been achieved. All designated facilities have been hit," the Defense Ministry said.

Also, the units of the grouping of troops "Vostok" continued advancing deep into the enemy's defense in the Donetsk direction. The AFU losses amounted to up to 200 servicemen, two armored combat vehicles, eight vehicles, a 155-millimeter Bogdana self-propelled artillery unit and an ammunition depot.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Russian army has destroyed a total of 30,305 pieces of military equipment since the beginning of the special military operation (SMO).
