Romanian aid to Moldova may affect ordinary Romanian consumers, the Russian Embassy in Bucharest has said.

"The possible abolition of restrictions on the growth of gas and electricity prices from April 1, 2025 may lead to a significant increase in tariffs for individual citizens," the Russian Embassy in Romania told Izvestia.

The Romanian authorities declared their readiness to support Moldova's energy stability against the background of the termination of Russian gas transit through Ukraine.
