The Russian military are actively advancing in the Krasny Liman direction, where after the liberation of the village of Terny in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), they have a direct route to the town of Krasny Liman. As Izvestia reports from the scene on January 15, only 14 kilometers remain to the settlement.

The northern outskirts of the DNR have gradually begun to turn into a bridgehead for the Russian army's further advance. The military group "West" has no days off. Military correspondent Dmitry Zimenkin notes that artillerymen are preparing their third combat mission of the day, loading Grad multiple rocket launchers with rockets. Enemy drones circling in the sky do not interfere with the work.

"Doesn't complicate it at all. The air control group is also mobile, that is, they have rifles and automatic rifles," said the commander of the firing platoon of the "West" group of troops with the call sign Douglas.

If the drone detector gives a signal, but the enemy "bird" is still far away, the work can continue. Intelligence has revealed that units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) have settled in the western part of the Serebryansky forestry area. This is the territory on which the strike will be carried out. It has been established that a pickup truck of the AFU, a satellite dish, a dugout and a drone "Baba Yaga" are hidden in the forest area. Destroying all targets in one fell swoop, the military joked that they were "taking a combat strike" while simultaneously covering the infantry.

Theliberation of the villages of Neskuchnoye and Terny in the DNR by the Russian army was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 14. A day earlier it became known that the Russian military liberated the settlement of Peschanoye in the DNR.
