On Wednesday, January 15, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated employees and veterans of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF) on the 14th anniversary of the establishment of the agency.
According to him, in recent years the state body has demonstrated its efficiency and has become an important part of the law enforcement system.
"You are at the forefront of the fight against crime and corruption, protect the rights and freedoms of Russian citizens, firmly defend the interests of the state," the Kremlin website quoted the Russian leader as saying.
Putin also noted the significant contribution of the IC officers in maintaining law and order in the regions and expressed confidence that they will continue to fulfill their official duties in good faith.
Every year on January 15, their professional holiday is celebrated by the employees of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation - specialists whose work is aimed at ensuring lawfulness, justice and security of society. On this day, solemn meetings are held, during which outstanding investigators are presented with awards, certificates of honor and commendations for their professional achievements.
