Air defense forces destroyed three AFU UAVs over Belgorod and Tambov regions overnight

Air defense forces have destroyed three Ukrainian drones over the Belgorod and Tambov regions overnight. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 15.

"Two UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Belgorod region and one was intercepted over the territory of the Tambov region," the report said in its Telegram channel.

Earlier in the day, the government of the Tambov region reported the destruction of UAVs over the region. In one of the houses on the territory of the region there is minor destruction. At the same time, there are no casualties.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
