Troop Group "Vostok" disrupted the actions of two AFU engineering groups in the DNR

Units of the Eastern group of troops have disrupted the actions of two engineering groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Razliv area in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR). This was reported by the head of the press center of the Eastern group of troops, Alexander Gordeyev, to TASS on January 15.

According to him, the Russian servicemen hit the manpower and equipment of units of two mechanized brigades and three brigades of the AFU territorial defense in the areas of Bogatyr, Velyka Novoselka, Vremivka, Konstantinopol, Novopolya, Novovodarivka, as well as disrupted the actions of two enemy engineering groups.

According to Gordeyev, the Ukrainian army lost more than 210 fighters during the day, as well as seven vehicles, Gvozdika and Bogdana self-propelled artillery units, an M777 towed howitzer and an airplane-type unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that calculations of 122-millimeter howitzers D-30 motorized howitzers of the motorized rifle regiment of the grouping of troops "West" destroyed BMP Bradley and strongholds of the AFU. Artillerymen perform fire cover for the actions of motorized rifle and assault units in the zone of the SSO, destroying targets at a distance of more than 15 km, the Defense Ministry said.
