The Russian Embassy commented on the death of a child from malnutrition in Mexico

The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Mexico is establishing the circumstances of the death of a six-year-old child of a Russian woman from exhaustion in Mexico City. This was reported to "Izvestia" in the diplomatic mission on January 13.

"The embassy has seen publications on the subject. According to preliminary data, such a death took place, but there were no official notifications and confirmation of information," - stated in the message of the press service.

At the same time, the Russian Embassy is in contact with local authorities.

Earlier in the day, Uno TV reported on the search in Mexico for a Russian woman after the death of her son from malnutrition. It is specified that the boy was found in critical condition and hospitalized, but it was not possible to save him. Gas, water and electricity were cut off in the apartment due to non-payment.
