A Polish resident spent two hours lying in the snow in only shorts to break the Guinness World Record. This was reported on January 13 by the local edition of Fakt.

"Lukasz Szpunar lay in a snowy mountain for two hours in just shorts. The Guinness record for the longest time of direct contact of the whole body with snow now belongs to a Pole," the media outlet pointed out.

According to the publication, Lukasz, also known as Iceking, is the holder of three records already. This time he surpassed the result of Valerian Romanowski, who spent 1 hour 45 minutes and 9 seconds in the snow.

It is noted that the record was watched by hundreds of people, while Lukasz's health was monitored by ambulance doctors.

Earlier, on January 1, the press service of the Tourism Development Department of the Emirate of Ras al-Khaimah in the UAE (RAKTDA) reported that the emirate set two new Guinness World Records during the New Year drone show and fireworks.

The two records were set for the 'Largest Tree Figure Formed by Drones in the Air' and the 'Largest Seashell Figure Formed by Drones in the Air'.
