Air defense forces eliminated a Ukrainian drone over the Bryansk region

Air defense means have shot down an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the Bryansk Region. This was reported by the governor of the region Alexander Bogomaz on January 13.

"An aircraft-type UAV was detected and destroyed over the territory of the Bryansk region by the air defense forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense," he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Bogomaz specified that no one was injured, there was no destruction.

Operational services are working on the site, said the head of the Bryansk region.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense means eliminated overnight eight Ukrainian drones over the territory of Russia. It is specified that six UAVs were destroyed over the territory of the Voronezh region and one each was shot down over the territories of the Bryansk and Belgorod regions.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
