HC Metallurg defeated Sochi to win its ninth consecutive KHL game
Metallurg Magnitogorsk Hockey Club (HC) has won its ninth consecutive victory in the regular championship of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), defeating Sochi on its home ice. The meeting on January 13 ended with a score of 4:2.
"Magnitogorsk resident gave out an active start. Danila Yurov did not beat Evgeny Volokhin on a solo pass. But Luke Johnson scored," - reported on the KHL website.
Metallurg also scored pucks Dmitry Silantiev, Artem Minulin and Egor Korobkin. Denis Vengryzhanovsky and Daniil Seroukh scored for Sochi.
After the victory Magnitogorsk club took third place in the standings of the Eastern Conference. "Sochi" goes last in the table of the conference "West".
On the eve of the Omsk hockey club Avangard won its fourth consecutive victory in the regular championship of the KHL, beating Salavat Yulaev Ufa. The meeting ended with a score of 3:2.
