The White House called the lack of a U.S. war with another country a point of pride

Jake Sullivan, National Security Advisor to the President of the United States, said that it is a source of pride for him that the United States has not been at war with another country during his tenure. He said this in an interview with Bloomberg on January 13, broadcast on YouTube.
"We're not at war," Sullivan responded to the interviewer's question about what he is most proud of during his time in office.
The politician expressed the opinion that he and the entire outgoing administration of current head of state Joe Biden are putting the country in the hands of the team of future U.S. President Donald Trump in a better position than the U.S. was four years ago.
In addition, Sullivan noted that the U.S. now has many "great friends" around the world.
Earlier in the day, the future Vice President of the States James David Vance assessed the state of affairs in the country's economy. Thus, in his opinion, the outgoing president leaves his successor an economic disaster.
Before that, on January 7, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that the current US administration rejected the accusations of obstruction in the process of transferring power to Trump, which sounded from his side.
On the same day, Trump said that Biden was doing everything possible to impede the process of transferring power. The Republican wrote about this on his page in the social network Truth Social.
