Two women and a one-year-old child have been injured in Belgorod Region as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov on January 13.
"In the village of Zozuli, Borisov district, a woman and her one-year-old child were injured as a result of a kamikaze drone attack on a car," he wrote in his Telegram.
The victims were hospitalized. Another woman was wounded in the village of Lozovoye after an attack by an AFU unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on a private house. She independently went to the city hospital of Belgorod, where she was diagnosed with a mine blast injury.
The woman refused hospitalization and will continue treatment as an outpatient.
Other details of the consequences of the AFU attacks are being clarified, Gladkov said.
Earlier, on January 11, two men were injured as a result of the AFU strike on Belgorod region. All the injured were hospitalized.
Before that, on January 10, as a result of the attack of AFU drones on a moving car and a flight bus in the region killed three people. It was specified that all the injured were hospitalized.
The AFU is trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
