Elena Krivyakina received a government award for a series of publications dedicated to demography and helping families in difficult situations.
On the eve of the Day of the Russian Press, which is celebrated on January 13, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin presented the government media awards for 2024. This award is given annually to journalists who have achieved significant success in their professional activities. This year among the laureates is Elena Krivyakina, special correspondent of "Komsomolka". She received the government award for a series of publications in the Year of the Family, dedicated to the protection of motherhood and childhood, women in difficult life situations and support for large families.
Elena Krivyakina has been working as a special correspondent of "Komsomolka" since 2007. For many years she has been closely involved in social issues. In her reports and investigations she covered the problems of falling birth rate in the country, told about the difficulties of single mothers, large families and children with incurable diseases. Komsomolka received a response from the authorities to many of Elena Krivyakina's publications, and we were able to help people in difficult situations.
"This year, in May, we in "Komsomolka" celebrate an anniversary, we are 100 years old. We are incredibly proud of it, it is even difficult to realize this figure. Our newspaper is called truly popular, and not only because we write about the most important, bright and interesting topics, but also because we speak to people in a human way, in a language they can understand. At the same time, this is a high-quality Russian language, and we value it very much. Our proofreaders will not lie, we have been learning for years - learning ourselves and teaching our readers to speak, read and write correctly. My nomination is for work in social journalism. "Social journalism" remains relevant at all times: both in war and peace. It is incomprehensible what kind of life situations people find themselves in, it is simply unbelievable. We in "Komsomolka" tell about these situations, help to solve them from year to year and support our heroes if they need it. Thank you very much for the evaluation of my work and for this kind nomination", - thanked the Prime Minister Elena Krivyakina.
