Russia has been conducting a special military operation to protect civilians in Donbas since February 24, 2022. You can track the progress of the joint troops of Russia, the Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics (DNR and LNR), as well as see a map of military operations as of January 13 in the Izvestiya piece.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the Russian army liberated the settlement of Peschanoye in the DNR. The work was carried out by units of the grouping of troops "Center".

In this direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) lost up to 615 servicemen, seven armored combat vehicles, including armored personnel carriers M113, VAB and armored vehicle MaxxPro.

In addition, the Russian army hit the infrastructure of military airfields, concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment in 157 areas. Air defenses shot down two French-made Hammer guided bombs, six shells of the US HIMARS multiple rocket launcher system (MLRS) and 83 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the aircraft type.

A total of 652 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 40,215 UAVs, 590 anti-aircraft missile systems, 20,512 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,508 MLRS combat vehicles, 20,545 field artillery and mortars, and 30,218 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed since the start of the special military operation.
