A case has been opened against a man who attacked people with a knife in a store in the Moscow region

A criminal case of attempted murder has been opened against a man who attacked people with a knife in a store in the town of Shchelkovo, Moscow Region. This was reported on January 13 in the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Moscow region.

"An investigator of the territorial investigative department of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Moscow region in respect of a 20-year-old native of the Volgograd region initiated a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under part 3 of article 30, paragraph "a" of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder")," - stated in the message of the regional department on its website.

In the Moscow suburbs SK tentatively established that the drunken man attacked the visitors and staff of the store without reason and stabbed them with a knife wounds on different parts of the body. It is specified that the lives of the three victims of the attack are not threatened.

The attacker on hot tracks detained employees of the municipal department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "Shchelkovskoe". In the near future the man will be taken to the department for investigative actions.

Theattack in the store in Shchelkovo occurred earlier in the day. After the incident, three people sought medical help with cut wounds. Law enforcers are finding out all the circumstances of what happened. Footage from the outlet shows that the attacker first approached one man and attacked him, and then, chasing after him, attacked two more people on the way. One of the men in the store knocked the man with the knife to the floor.
