The accused in the case of poisoning of cadets in Armavir pleaded guilty

The defendant in the case of poisoning of graduates of Armavir flight military school Yegor Semenov pleaded guilty in court. This was reported by the correspondent of "Izvestia" from the courtroom on January 13.

"Yes, your honor. In full," the man said, answering the judge's question about whether he admits his guilt.

It is specified that in 2022 the figure received Russian citizenship, and a year later he was recruited by Ukrainian special services. He was tasked with organizing the murder of graduates of the Armavir Higher Military Aviation Red Banner Air Defense Pilot School. He was promised a reward of 400 thousand rubles for the fulfillment of this task, but he never received the money.

The attempt to poison 77 Russian pilots during the celebration of the 20th anniversary of their graduation on October 22, 2023 was reported by the chairman of the public movement "We are with Russia" Vladimir Rogov. The cake and alcohol delivered to the celebration contained poison. The poisoned products did not have time to taste, as one of the officers decided to check who brought it all. A criminal case on the terrorist act (paragraph "a", part 3, article 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) was initiated. The attacker was detained in Mineralnye Vody when he was about to fly to Moscow.
