Media reported on the purchase of the maximum number of aircraft parts by the U.S. in Russia

In November 2024, the United States of America purchased the maximum number of components from Russia for airplanes for the last three years. This is evidenced by the data of the U.S. Customs on January 13.

In November last year, the volume of purchases of such parts amounted to $7.6 million, which was the highest figure since February 2022, notes "RIA Novosti". It is specified that for the first 11 months of 2024 supplies of Russian elements in the United States amounted to $31.4, which exceeded the figures for the same period in 2023 ($30.5 million).

According to U.S. Customs data, the most sought-after aircraft parts were landing gear and their parts ($6.97 million), as well as other elements of helicopters or drones, the volume of supplies of which amounted to $586.1 thousand.

The day before it became known that the U.S. tripled imports of Russian cocoa products, especially chocolate, at the end of 11 months of 2024. In the period from January to November last year, the amount of these purchases of cocoa and cocoa products amounted to $2.48 million, which was the maximum level compared to the same periods of the previous three years.
