Crews of T-90M Breakthrough tanks of the All-Russian Army of the Zapad group of forces have hit platoon strongholds, ammunition depots and living forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the zone of the special military operation. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry on January 13.

In the course of combat work, the group's reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) calculations reported on the movement and work of Ukrainian formations at one of the sites.

After that, the crew of the T-90M Breakthrough tank of the All-Russian Army of the "West" group of forces moved out for another combat mission. This time the tankers hit platoon strongholds, ammunition depots and AFU personnel in the zone of the special military operation.

Then the tankers immediately drove into the so-called sump, where the AFU will not be able to track down their parking lot.

"Today it is one of the best tanks in the world in terms of armor protection, in terms of armament, in terms of its firepower. That is why we cherish, appreciate this equipment and actively use it. The tank is fully equipped with port electronics, there is a computer and a ballistic calculator," said the commander of the tank with the call sign Sibai.

Earlier, on January 12, the crew of the Russian tank in the area of the SSO performed a combat task to make a passage in the mine and explosive barriers, equipped by the AFU on the approaches to the stronghold. The Russian Armed Forces attacked the enemy stronghold unexpectedly, taking advantage of the surprise effect.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the beginning of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
