British politician called for the launch of Nord Stream 2

The leader of the British party "Heritage" David Curtin said that one of the pipelines of the "Nord Stream-2" is in good working order, it can be launched and gas can be purchased from Russia again. On January 12, the politician said in the social network X (former Twitter).

"One of the four Nord Stream pipelines is intact and can be restarted very quickly. Let's buy good... gas from our friends in Russia again," he wrote.

Earlier, on January 11, Alice Weidel, a candidate for Chancellor of Germany from the Alternative for Germany (AdG), promised to restore the operation of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines if elected to the post of head of the government .

Before that, Bundestag deputy from the Alternative for Germany (AdG) Rainer Rothfuss told Izvestia that the cumulative damage caused to the FRG due to the sabotage of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 pipelines amounted to billions of euros in double digits.
