Honored Artist of Russia Konstantin Voshchikov passed away at the age of 89

Distinguished artist of Russia and the Republic of Tyva Konstantin Voshchikov died at the age of 89. This was reported on January 12 by the Siberian Institute of Arts named after Dmitry Hvorostovsky.

"Today, on the 90th year of life, Konstantin Alekseevich Voshchikov passed away," the press service reported on the institute's website.

Voshchikov from 1992 to 2001 headed the department of "Mastery of the Actor" of the Siberian Institute, in addition, working in the literary theater at the regional philharmonic, he created about 20 solo recitation programs. Voshchikov also taught at the Krasnoyarsk Academy of Music and Theater.
