The tax authorities will check motor carriers for financial frauds
Financial violations of "gray" road carriers approached 920 billion rubles for the year, market participants from the AvtoGruzEx association told Izvestia. The Federal Tax Service will check transportation and logistics companies (TLC) for tax payments after the appeal of activists from the Public Consumer Initiative (PCI). The document was familiarized with the editorial board.
"The results of the research we conducted in November 2024 show that the issuance of "gray" salaries is practiced by more than 50% of TLC," OPI chairman Oleg Pavlov told Izvestia.
The information is confirmed by AvtoGruzEx, an association of road carriers and forwarders. According to their data, more than 60% of such companies in Russia reduce tax payments on salaries and to optimize costs.
Among the violations, the public and AvtoGruzEx association also name understatement of insurance contributions, VAT write-offs, unregistered processing, improper execution of labor contracts, lack of compulsory medical examinations, and so on.
Market participants, members of AvtoGruzEx, estimated that tax losses due to "gray" wages in the industry reached 300 billion rubles.
According to ITECO JSC, budget losses due to illegal VAT refunds in the industry may approach 500 billion rubles a year. The avoidance of toll payments in the Platon system leads to losses of 120 billion rubles a year.
The central office of the Federal Tax Service, after reading the appeal of the OPI, instructed regional departments to organize inspections in the industry. By the end of December 2024, these activities began to conduct Sverdlovsk and Nizhny Novgorod FTS, follows from the responses of regional departments in the OPI.
