Governor Busargin spoke about the situation in Engels after the UAV attack
Controlled fuel burnout after the UAV attack continues in Engels. This was reported by the Governor of the Saratov region Roman Busargin on Sunday, January 12.
"Today held a regular meeting of the operational headquarters at the site of the fire in Engels. The process of controlled burnout of fuel continues," he wrote in his Telegram-channel.
Specialists are working around the clock to eliminate the fire.
The amount of smoke and the area of the fire are decreasing, the latest air samples did not show excess of harmful substances.
On January 8, the governor of the Saratov region reported that Saratov and Engels were subjected to a massive UAV attack and one of the industrial enterprises was damaged.
Later, an operational headquarters was deployed at the enterprise burning after the drone attack. Busargin added at the time that there were enough forces and means to localize the fire.
