Militants of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) did not try to evacuate the bodies of their dead fellow soldiers after an attempted attack on the farm Berdin in Kursk Region. This was reported on Sunday, January 12, by the commander of the Akhmat special forces group with the call sign Haid.
According to him, the AFU tried to strike and land a paratroop near the farm Berdin to break through to Bolshoye Soldatskoye, but this attempt was foiled.
"At the moment, the situation has completely stabilized. The enemy has either surrendered or been liquidated. As a result, a couple dozen units of transport, a battalion the enemy lost in manpower in this senseless attack. I don't know what they were counting on," he told RIA Novosti.
Haid added that the Ukrainian military did not try to evacuate the bodies of their dead comrades, but instead looted, taking weapons and belongings.
Earlier, on January 8, the operator of the Akhmat special forces UAV with the call sign Psikh told Izvestia about the fighters' cohesive work and the units' successes during the AFU's attempt to break through near the farm Berdin in the Kursk region. It was specified that only for the first day his unit eliminated nine units of Ukrainian equipment with the use of kamikaze drones.
The AFU attacked Russian positions in the border areas of the Kursk region on August 6, 2024. The situation in the region was recognized as a state of emergency of federal character. The liquidation of the Ukrainian militants who invaded the Russian territory is underway.
