Bus driver killed in AFU drone attack on Gorlovka
The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have attacked a bus in Horlivka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) with a drone. The mayor of the city, Ivan Prikhodko, said on January 12 that the driver was killed as a result.
He specified that the AFU dropped an explosive object from a UAV on the bus of route No. 2 in the settlement of the N. A. Izotov mine in Gorlovka. N. A. Izotov in the Nikitovsky district of the city.
"As a result of the drop <...> the driver of the bus of route No. 2 died. <...> Condolences to family and friends," Prikhodko wrote in his Telegram-channel.
The day before, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, said that three residents of the village of Novye Yurkovichi in the Klimovsky district were injured as a result of shelling by the AFU using multiple rocket launchers (MLRS). They were provided with all the necessary assistance.
Ukrainian militants are trying to strike at Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
