Erdogan has indicated the possibility of running for another presidential term

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has made it clear that he may run for president in the next presidential election. This was reported by the Turkish TV channel NTV on January 11.

After speaking at his party's 8th congress in the city of Şanlıurf, President Erdoğan was accompanied by artist Ibrahim Tatlıses as he performed his popular songs.

"Are you ready for the presidency next term?" - the singer asked the Turkish head of state in between musical compositions.

President Erdogan responded to the question by saying: "If you agree, then I agree as well."
