The Defense Ministry published footage of the destruction of AFU equipment in the Krasnoarmeysk direction

On January 12, the Russian Defense Ministry published footage of the destruction of personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) by calculations of strike unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Center grouping of troops in the Krasnoarmeysk direction.

In the course of combat work, FPV drone crews hit an AFU T-72M1 tank near the village of Vozdvizhenka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR).

Supporting the offensive actions of the group's assault units, the UAV strike teams are eliminating AFU personnel and equipment on a daily basis.

Earlier, on January 10, the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) reported successes of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) near Krasnoarmeysk and Dimitrov. The Russian Armed Forces are taking the Ukrainian-controlled towns of Krasnoarmeysk (Ukrainian name: Pokrovsk) and Dimitrov (Ukrainian name: Mirnograd) in their pincers.

The special operation to protect Donbass, the start of which Russian President Vladimir Putin announced on February 24, 2022, continues. The decision was made against the backdrop of the worsening situation in the region.
