Former UK Deputy Defense Secretary Ivor Caplin is detained on suspicion of pedophilia. This was reported on January 11 by UK MP Nigel Farage.

"Former Labor Party defense minister Ivor Caplin was arrested today. He allegedly tried to meet with a 15-year-old," he wrote on the X network (former Twitter).

Earlier, on January 8, the deputies of the House of Commons of the British Parliament in the majority rejected the proposal of the opposition Conservative Party to hold a national inquiry into the mass sexual abuse of underage girls in the north of England. As a result of the parliamentary vote, 364 people voted against the Tory initiative. Only 111 deputies were in favor of the investigation.

Before that, on January 3, the head of the British Ministry of Health Wes Streeting offered American entrepreneur Ilon Musk to help the country in the fight against pedophilia due to his position as the owner of one of the leading social networks.

On the same day, Musk called British Prime Minister Keir Starmer "complicit in the mass rapes" of girls by gangs in Britain while he was head of the Crown Prosecution Service between 2008 and 2013.
