The building of the Kazakh-British University caught fire in Almaty. This was reported January 11 by the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"At these minutes in Almaty in one of the buildings on the street Tole bi firefighters eliminate the fire. According to preliminary data, on the fourth floor in one of the rooms is burning ceiling ceiling," - informed the press service of the department.
Later in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic said that the fire was localized, adding that due to the peculiarities of the structure of the building, high fire load and heavy smoke the extinguishing process was complicated.
Earlier, on October 27, 2024, a shopping center caught fire in Kazakhstan's Atyrau. To extinguish the fire attracted 12 units of equipment of the Emergency Situations Department of the Atyrau region and 90 people.
