About 50 people were injured in a head-on streetcar collision in Strasbourg


Due to the collision of two streetcars in the French city of Strasbourg, which occurred due to an error in the transfer of arrows, about 50 people were injured, 15 of whom were hospitalized. This is reported on Saturday, January 11, the TV channel BFMTV.
French Transport Minister Philippe Tabarot on air of the TV channel spoke about the human casualties. According to him, at the moment it is reported about 50 injured.
Tabaro emphasized that there were no fatalities as a result of the collision.
Before that, on October 29, 2024, it became known that four people were injured when the streetcar derailed in Norway. It was specified that in total there were 20 people in the transport. Hospitalization was needed for one. When the streetcar derailed, it flew into a store building. It was badly damaged as a result of the incident.
