Three residents of a village in the Bryansk region wounded by AFU MLRS fire

In Bryansk Region, three residents of the village of Novye Yurkovichi in Klimovsky district were injured as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported by the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, on January 11.

He noted that the strike on the settlement was carried out with the use of multiple rocket launcher system (MLRS).

"As a result of the terrorist attack, three civilians were wounded. At present, they have been taken to the hospital and all necessary medical assistance has been provided to them. Significant destruction of the administrative building has been recorded," Bogomaz said in his Telegram channel.

Earlier, on January 11, the governor of Belgorod region Vyacheslav Gladkov said that two civilians were injured as a result of the AFU strike on the region. The injured were hospitalized, they are being provided with the necessary assistance. In the village of Borisovka, a UAV also attacked a commercial facility, the roof was damaged.

Prior to that, on January 10, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense means eliminated 40 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Russian regions during the past night. It was specified that three drones were eliminated over the territory of the Bryansk Region.

Ukrainian militants are trying to strike Russian territories against the background of the special operation in Donbass, the beginning of which was announced on February 24, 2022. The decision was taken due to the aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by the Ukrainian military.
