Protesters in Mongolia, who accuse the authorities of failing to combat smog and unemployment, have blocked the central Peace Avenue in the capital, Ulaanbaatar. As the online edition of News.mn noted on January 11, even ambulances cannot move along the main street.

Because of the protest action, 15 bus routes along Peace Avenue were closed for two hours. The western and eastern directions along the main road, as well as north and southbound traffic, were completely closed.

At the same time, from the moment the protesters began to block the main road, complaints began to be received from citizens to the Department of Transport of the capital that "no public transportation is running."

According to TASS, a small peaceful picket, which began at noon in the main square of Ulaanbaatar, by the evening turned into a procession with the participation of more than 1,000 people. Among them there are young people in a state of alcoholic intoxication. The initiator and organizer of the action is the Freedom Alliance party.

Earlier on January 11 it was reported that in Saxony more than 5 thousand Germans came out with protests to disrupt the congress of the party "Alternative for Germany" (AdG). "Izvestia" published footage from the scene. On them a large number of people with placards marched, shouting slogans and using smoke bombs. There were also employees of operational services on the site. The congress is to be held on January 11 and 12.
