In Sukhum, a man who organized a shootout in a cafe and wounded three people was detained

A man staged a shootout in a cafe in the city of Sukhum in Abkhazia, as a result of which three visitors were wounded. As reported by the Interior Ministry of the republic on January 11, the suspect managed to escape from the scene of the crime, but was soon promptly detained.

It is noted that the shootout occurred between visitors of the cafe "Biscuit" at 14:00. As a result of the incident, three citizens were hospitalized with gunshot wounds in the Central Republican Hospital (CRH).

"By the operative measures taken, criminal investigation officers identified and detained the suspect," - noted on the website of the agency.

According to preliminary data, the shooter in the cafe is an employee of the administration of the city of Sukhum, indicates in Telegram-channel news agency "Aiashara".

Later, the Apsnypress news agency was informed by the Republican Ministry of Health that three victims of the incident died of their wounds in the Republican Hospital. Despite the fact that the medics provided emergency medical care, their injuries were not compatible with life, the media outlet's Telegram channel noted.

Earlier, on January 4, the source of "Izvestia" reported about the shooting in an apartment in the south-west of Moscow. The incident occurred in a house on Teply Stan Street. The victims, a 20-year-old woman and a 27-year-old man, were taken to the hospital. About the nature of injuries and the condition of the victims was not said. It is also known that there was a child in the apartment.
