A woman died in a road accident involving a truck in the Leningrad Region

A woman was killed in an accident involving a truck on the highway "Narva" in the Volosovsky district of the Leningrad region. About it on Saturday, January 11, reports the press service of the Main Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

It is established that a 39-year-old woman driving a Chevrolet Aveo failed to cope with the control on the turn, her car went on the oncoming road and collided with a truck loaded with crushed stone.

"As a result of the accident, the female driver died from injuries incompatible with life," - stated in the message of the department in Telegram-channel.

On the fact of what happened, an inspection is being carried out. The circumstances and causes of the incident are being clarified.

Earlier, on January 9, an accident involving a truck and several cars in Kirovsky district of the Leningrad region killed two people.
