A massive DDoS attack on major fixed-line and mobile operators has been recorded in Crimea. This was reported on Saturday, January 11, by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of the Republic.

"Technical specialists carry out all the necessary measures and successfully repel attacks," - stated in the message in the Telegram-channel.

It is specified that because of the attack, some services may be unavailable or work with failures.

Earlier, on December 18, 2024, Izvestia reviewed data from the digital risk management company BI.ZONE, from which it follows that the share of attacks on Russian companies with the purpose of espionage has increased by 6%. Often during attacks, hackers also try to disrupt systems, for example, by changing passwords to accounts.
